Ingredients :

  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 4 red peppers
  • Salt
  • Olive oil
  • 2 eggplants

Preparation :

  • Wash peppers, cut them in 2 and remove the seeds. Cut half peppers in a hotplate.
  • Wash the eggplants, cut the in 2 and add them into the hotplate.
  • Put in the oven at 180°C during 30 minutes.
  • Let the vegetables cool down and peel them. Vegetable skin should be very easy to remove.
  • Blend everything with garlic and olive oil.
  • If necessary, add salt and pepper.
  • Put ajvar in sterilized jar in order to preserve the ajvar
  • Keep the jar in the fridge once it is open.
